New Mobile App for McGraw-Hill Access Databases

McGraw-Hill has released a new mobile app for AccessAnesthesiology, AccessMedicine, AccessPharmacy, and AccessSurgery. The app features content from across all Vanderbilt subscribed Access databases.

Users can search and favorite books, cases, images, and videos. Other important features include access to review questions and the ability to view content offline.

To use the app, users must first create an Access profile from one of the Access sites while on campus. Go to the Databases A-Z list or one of the Access sites (AccessAnesthesiology, AccessMedicine, AccessPharmacy, and AccessSurgery) and click on the grey sign in link in the upper right corner. Then click the Sign in or Create a Free Access Profile link. Follow the prompts in the pop-up box. Be sure to use your Vanderbilt email address.

Please note that existing MyAccess accounts were moved to the new the Access profile system and will work with the new app. There is no need to create a new Access profile if you previously created a MyAccess account.

After creating an Access profile, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play to download the app.

Users will need to log into the app once every 90 days while on campus to maintain uninterrupted access. An in-app reminder will alert users when they need to verify their account.
