COVID-19 Pandemic Story Series: Janice Mutuku

An SEL student assistant tells her COVID-19 pandemic story:

After the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I left campus and flew home to Nairobi, Kenya. I was excited to be home even with the COVID-19 restrictions. I spent a lot of time with family during the last half of the spring semester and the summer. We played board games and watched a lot of Netflix. I took up baking and resumed my previously abandoned yoga practice. I also enjoyed taking socially-distanced walks around my neighborhood and going on picnics with my friends. When the restrictions were lifted, I went on a few trips outside my city. I took this picture during my trip to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
