Divinity Librarian Profile: Keegan Osinski

Keegan Osinski is the Public Services Librarian for the Divinity Library, which entails managing and supervising the service desk and scheduling coverage for staff and student workers.  She also serves as the subject librarian for the subject areas of theology and ethics.  She and colleague Bobby Smiley are developing and teaching a thesis writing workshop for Divinity MTS students.

Keegan’s own description of her professional interests, as described on her personal web page is:

“My interests include sacramental and liturgical theology and facilitating knowledge-sharing between scholars and clergy in new and creative ways.”

Keegan moved to Nashville 2013 to take a library assistant position in the Divinity Library, while she completed her MLIS degree. She became the Public Services Librarian in October 2017, waiting patiently until a professional position was available.  While she is the newest librarian on the Divinity staff, she is already extremely active in publishing and presentations in both the American Theological Library Association as well as the Wesleyan Theological Society.
