The Annette and Irwin Eskind Family Biomedical Library and Learning Center is now open after a year-long renovation. In addition, the library will unveil its new library platform on Monday, July 23rd and a new web site on Tuesday, July 24th.

The year-long renovation brings new lighting, new furniture, a beautiful information desk, an amazing training and meeting space, and ten study rooms. In addition, the Eskind Biomedical Library and Learning Center welcomes its new neighbor, the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. The Biomedical Library occupies the first floor and the lower level. The History of Medicine Collections is still located on the third floor. Only authorized students, staff, and faculty should enter the School of Medicine areas on the second, third, and fourth floors.

In order to assist with the website transition, the Eskind Biomedical Library training team will provide 30-minute orientation sessions on Wednesday, July 25th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Each session will start on the top of the hour.

If you or your department are unable to attend, please contact us at http://www.library.vanderbilt.edu/biomedical/ask-librarian.php and we will gladly schedule a personal or group training session.
