We are pleased to announce that Bobby Smiley has accepted the Subject Liaison for Theology and Religion position for the Divinity Library and will begin employment at Vanderbilt on May 20th. Bobby will provide professional research instruction and information consultation services for faculty and students in the Divinity School, Graduate Department of Religion and the Religious Studies Department of the College of Arts & Science.
Bobby has a B.A. in Political Science from University of Wisconsin–Madison, an M.A. in Religion from Yale University Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut, a certificate in Digital Humanities and an M.S. in Information and Library Science from Pratt Institute in New York, New York. Currently, Bobby is the Digital Scholarship and American History Librarian at Michigan State University Libraries and an Affiliated Faculty for the program in Digital Humanities at Michigan State University in East Lansing.
