Professor Michael Aurbach’s Art 151 Assemblage class put together their final class project on Monday afternoon, April 26 on Library Lawn near the bronze Tree of Knowledge. The assemblage, Giant Bronze Eating Termites, was a display of several army-fatigued termites marching toward the Tree of Knowledge with the intent of devouring it. Professor Aurbach’s Assemblage class has assembled a different project each year, directed at the Tree of Knowledge, for their final class project. One of the cardboard termites found its way into the General Library Building, where it is currently on display in the reference section just beyond the main lobby of the Central Library.
