The W.T. Bandy Center for Baudelaire and Modern French Studies invites you to a lecture by Jonathan Culler, Class of 1916 Professor of English and Comparative Literature and Chair, Department of Romance Studies, Cornell University.
The lecture, titled “L’hyperbole et l’apostrophe: Baudelaire and the Theory of the Lyric”, will take place on Thursday, April 29th at 4pm in the Sixth Floor Classroom, Central Library.
A reception will follow in the Bandy Center, 8th Floor Central Library.
The lecture is sponsored by the W.T. Bandy Center for Baudelaire and Modern French Studies and the Department of French and Italian.
