Heard Libraries to host book talk with Jen Ellis, maker of Bernie Sanders’ mittens, on Oct. 24

Do you remember the famous meme of Bernie Sanders and his mittens at President Biden’s inauguration? Join us as author Jen Ellis discusses her new memoir, Bernie’s Mitten Maker, and how her newfound fame has helped her to do good in the world. Ellis’ talk will take place Oct. 24, from 5 to 6 p.m., in the Central Library Community Room. A reception with refreshments and book signing will follow.

This event is co-sponsored by the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries and the Office of Undergraduate Education, and is part of the programming for the Sesquicentennial grant-winning project “Dare to Grow, Lead, and Thrive at Vanderbilt: From the Frontline to the Sideline to the Boardroom.”
