Applications are still open for the fall 2023 Buchanan Library Fellowship, Building a University: Vanderbilt’s Fourth Decade, 1905–1915. This fellowship, which requires a commitment of five to eight hours weekly including project meetings, blends curatorial practice and the history of the university. Fellows will receive a small salary as they research and interpret books and other items from the Special Collections Library and place them in context of historical events and cultural production. The fellowship will culminate in an exhibition about their chosen books and a presentation about what they learned. Find out more and apply here.
