Join Buchanan Library Fellows/Blair School of Music students Charlie Schmitt, Gabe Barnard, Kevin Shinskie, Jade Marantz, and Shianne Bonham for a lecture/recital on the extraordinarily varied work and legacy of Dr. Yusef A. Lateef. This event was built around the recently acquired collection of Dr. Lateef held by Vanderbilt University Special Collections & University Archives as part of an initiative between Vanderbilt and the National Museum of African American Music, and will take place in the Blair School of Music’s Turner Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. on December 7, 2022.
