In its 12th year, Preservation Week has inspired individuals and communities around the world to preserve personal, family and community collections.
The 2022 theme is “Preservation in the Face of Climate Change” and highlights the effects of climate change on our shared cultural heritage materials. Papers, photographs and other materials held by both institutions and individuals are integral to telling the story of the human impact on the environment. Libraries, museums, institutions, and individuals are urged to examine the effects of climate on their collections, and to seek resiliency strategies.
