In collaboration with VUIT, the Vanderbilt Libraries have procured three licenses for SAS software. These licenses are available by accessing the libraries’ virtual desktop machines. Students will need to connect via the VMWare Horizon in order to access the software:
- Navigate to http://anywherevu.vanderbilt.edu/.
- Select either “Install VMware Horizon Client” (recommended) or “VMware Horizon HTML Access”.
- Click on “SAS for Heard Libraries” to access the software after following the instructions for either downloading the desktop client or accessing via the web.
*Note that while any student can connect to the Virtual Machine, only three people at one time will be able to use SAS. The libraries will monitor usage and may increase capacity if necessary.
