Vanderbilt University has partnered with the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) to create a Collections Initiative that will support the purchase of materials for research and exhibition. Funding for the Collections Initiative comes from the Academic Archives Purchasing Fund, an internal faculty funding program within the Office of the Provost, and is open to ALL full-time Vanderbilt faculty. This short video provides an overview of the Vanderbilt/NMAAM Collections Initiative, information about the application process, and explains how the VU Libraries will support this exciting new partnership.
Additional information about the Collections Initiative is available from the research guide. If you have any questions, please contact Holling Smith-Borne, Director of the Anne Potter Wilson Music Library.
