Many congratulations are in order for Peabody Library’s Karen Swoopes, who was awarded the
2021 Philanthropist of the Year Award for the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) Foundation. The Philanthropist of the Year award is the IAAP Foundation’s most prestigious award given annually to an individual who exemplifies the spirit of philanthropy through extraordinary financial and volunteer support of the administrative profession.
Karen is known throughout IAAP (and Vanderbilt!) for her professionalism and generosity, and this award is certainly well-deserved. Congratulations, Karen!
