An SEL student assistant tells his COVID-19 pandemic story:
One thing I can say I picked up during the pandemic was leisure reading. As a student, I often read required books for my classes. However, with more time on my hands I decided to venture out and try new books on topics that I was genuinely interested in outside school obligations and I really loved the leisure reading. I have read several books in the past year. Some great reads I enjoyed include The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, The Snowball by Alice Schroeder and Thursdays by Jackson Biko.
