Full-text access issues in PubMed

Recent changes with the new PubMed have caused some users to have issues with linking to our full-text subscriptions in PubMed. The following solution has helped several users. However, if access issues persist, please contact us.

  1. If you have an MyNCBI account, which we highly recommend, sign in from the PubMed homepage.
  2. Click on your account name and select Dashboard or Account Settings.
  3. On either page, click on NCBI Site Preferences.
  4. Look under the PubMed Preferences header for Outside Tool.
  5. Click on the link, go to F on the A-Z list and select the Findit@VU option.
