The Annette and Irwin Eskind Family Biomedical Library and Learning Center will re-open on Wednesday, August 5th.
HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
ACCESS
- Badge access is restricted to students, staff, and faculty from VUSM (MD), VUSM (non-MD), VUSM Basic Sciences, VUSN, and VUMC only.
- All entrants are required to have a mask, badge, and a daily temperature screening sticker per VU/VUMC policy.
- Please adhere to recommended safety guidelines, building signage, and traffic patterns.
SPACE
- Limited seating capacity of 75
- Study rooms are closed and used for excess chair and table storage.
- Additional chairs and study room availability are dependent on COVID-19 activity and will be made available in phases.
- The lower level training room has been temporarily designated as a classroom and will be unavailable for the 2020-2021 academic year.
LIMITED STAFFING and SERVICES
- Assistance is limited to phone, email, Zoom, or Skype for Business.

- Book self-checkout is available at the kiosk on the Information Desk
- Books from other VU Libraries may be requested through the Pick-Up-Plan, https://newsonline.library.vanderbilt.edu/2020/07/pick-up-service-now-available-from-all-libraries/.

- Document Delivery
- No print book requests are honored at this time. We will work to acquire an electronic version of your article or book chapter.

- Allied Universal Guards are on duty 1:00 pm – 6pm.
VU Environmental Services staff have specific hourly, daily, and weekly procedures but we are adding a self-service cleaning supply station at the Information Desk.
