This two-session course will focus on introductory spatial analysis in QGIS, a free and open source GIS platform. If you have always been curious about GIS and how to get started with it, this is the perfect opportunity.
The course will run two days, 2/27 & 2/28, from 1-4:30 pm both days. Day 1 will cover vector data analysis and Day 2 will cover raster data analysis.
Please register here (space is limited to 24 registrants).
Participants will need to bring their own laptop and have QGIS installed on the machine prior to the first session. For installation instructions, please visit https://www.vanderbilt.edu/viigr/teaching/.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Vanderbilt Initiative for Interdisciplinary Geospatial Research (VIIGR) and the Jean and Alexander Heard Library’s Digital Scholarship and Communications (DiSC).
