The Central, Divinity, Biomedical, and Peabody libraries have launched a new method for letting their users check out library materials on their mobile devices, such as phones or tablets. Self-checkout is also available for those patrons who do not want to use their own devices by providing a self-checkout kiosk to use instead.
Self-checkout is easy and convenient and consists of three simple steps:
- Download the Android or iOS app (checkout@VandyLibraries)
- Scan your items with your phone’s camera
- Deactivate your items at a library kiosk
