Vanderbilt Libraries’ offices of Teaching and Learning and Digital Scholarship and Scholarly Communications are pleased to welcome Christina Hendricks, University of British Columbia professor of teaching in philosophy and Academic Director of the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology at UBC Vancouver to campus for an event exploring students as creators of open digital content. Join us this Friday to learn more about both open educational materials and how to deeply engage students through open pedagogical practices.

Dr. Hendricks will deliver a talk on “Open Educational Practices: What, Why, and How” followed by lunch (provided with advanced registration for the first 75 people), and concluding with an exposition of Open pedagogical practices taking place here at Vanderbilt!
