Introduction to Open Science Framework

I am pleased to remind you of the next installment of our Digital Scholarship and Scholarly Communications Workshop Series: Introduction to the Open Science Framework, to be held today (Friday, October 4) from 11:10-12:00 in Central 418a.

The Open Science Framework (OSF) is a web-based tool that allows teams to coordinate all stages of the research cycle. Although OSF is ultimately intended to serve as a permanent, open archive of data and analyses, varying levels of access can be granted to team members and the public as a project develops. Version control is built into OSF, so data are never lost and OSF integrations allow you to continue using your existing collaborative tools like Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, and Github. This hands-on workshop will show you how to get started with OSF, so bring your laptop and get ready to jump in!
