Vanderbilt Libraries welcomes author Martin Seay


Martin Seay, author of the lauded book The Mirror Thief, will be discussing the future of reading at Vanderbilt Central Library on Tuesday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m. His novel was chosen by the NY Times as a Notable Book of the Year, as well as being named Publisher’s Weekly and NPR’s Best Book of the Year.

Director Peter Chelsom and his collaborators Tinker Lindsay and John Albanis have acquired the rights to adapt The Mirror Thief as a film.

A book signing and reception will follow the reading and discussion.
The event will be held in conjunction with the re-launching of the Friends of Vanderbilt’s Libraries. Friends of Vanderbilt’s Libraries is open to everyone interested in supporting Vanderbilt’s nine libraries and attending the library’s special events.
