New Exhibits at Peabody

The Peabody Library exhibit cases commemorate two milestones on the Peabody Campus.  2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the Peabody Experimental School’s renaming to The Susan Gray School, in honor of Peabody faculty visionary Susan Gray.  Since 1968, the work pioneered by Gray and her colleagues has dictated the course of Early Childhood Education research in both the United States and abroad.  This year also saw the publication of Academics in Action! : A Model for Community-Engaged Research Teaching and Service. The book, which took nearly two decades to complete, embodies the unique spirit of the Human and Organizational Development program at Peabody College.  On view are items from the Vanderbilt University Special Collections and University Archives and the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center.
