Markup Languages for Digital Humanities

Friday, March 18th

Central Library, 418a

To create digital editions of scholarly texts, you must use markup languages- a type of computer language that uses tags to explain or define your text.

Join this week’s Tools & Techniques in Digital Scholarship workshop as we explore how to mark up a document using oXgen XML editor and two key markup languages- the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) and the Journal Article Tagging Suite (JATS).

No RSVP needed.
