Community Digitizes Black Nashville History

kingwiki

Last Saturday, Vanderbilt faculty and students and others from the Nashville community participated in the nationwide “Our Story Matters” Wikipedia Edit-a-thon for Black History Month.

These participants aimed to fill in the gaps of missing information about the Civil Rights Movement in Nashville on Wikipedia. Their efforts helped improve the accuracy and detailed content of Wikipedia’s information and make Nashville’s history digitally available to all.
