Construction Begins on Three New Study Rooms, Accessible Door

Starting Monday, May 18, construction begins on three new study rooms, an accessible door, and a digital sign as the Massey Law Library continues enhancements to benefit our patrons.
The new study rooms will be located in the main reading room where the state codes used to be shelved. These new rooms will be sound proof and will provide law students with more space for group study and collaboration.
Construction also begins on a new handicap accessible door that leads from the main reading room to the Davidson Study Lounge and Trabue Solarium. An elevator next to the Lounge provides access to the main floor of the Law School from the Library level.
Finally, a new digital sign will greet students in the fall as they enter the Law Library through the main doors. The sign will include information about upcoming Library events, hours of operation, librarian and staff profiles and locations, and other relevant library news.
We encourage the law school community to ask questions as we upgrade our library over the next several weeks.
