The library workshop series continues this Friday with Getting Started with Podcasting. Podcasts are increasingly popular. Break out podcasts like Serial expose new fans to the world of podcasting with each new episode. According to Statista, 15 percent of Americans had listened to a podcast in the past month in 2014 compared to only nine percent in 2008.
Our own Ed Warga will walk participants through each step of the podcast production process using open source software. Participants will also learn about podcasting equipment and useful resources so that they, too, can take part in this growing trend.
