Vanderbilt University Library’s administrative team, led by Interim Dean Jody Combs, participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The Library Deans of all the SEC schools were challenged by the Auburn University Dean of Libraries. Interim Dean Combs said he would “gladly accept the ALS ice bucket challenge in hopes that awareness may lead to medical discoveries and a cure for ALS.” Additional members of Vanderbilt Library administrative team readily joined in the ice water event to support the cause.
