Dr. Yvonne Chandler, Associate Professor in the Department of Library and Information Sciences at the University of North Texas, will be in the library on Friday September 13 from 11:00AM – 12:30PM in conference room 800FA to discuss a new IMLS/EMLS grant program that will offer scholarships to persons interested in pursuing a master’s degree in library science. The program is beginning the recruitment process for candidates and will be in Tennessee during the week of September 11th through the 15th. Dr. Chandler would love to speak with any staff members or students who would be interested in the MLS and the scholarship program.
