Consolidated service point provides single point of contact for library users

When returning law students come to the library this fall, they will notice that the Reference Desk has been removed and replaced with additional lighted tables for study. In order to better serve Vanderbilt Law students and faculty, the Law Library Circulation Desk will be the primary point of contact for users needing assistance. Having one point of service is more convenient, removing the requirement of knowing which desk provides which type of service. There is now one service desk to handle all questions. For more in-depth research questions, law librarians will be available on an on-call basis between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday. The law librarians also welcome research consultations by appointment.
