New Art Installation: One More Reason to Visit Peabody Library

This June, 38 works of art in 30 frames were installed at Peabody Library. Many of the pieces relate to the mission and culture of Peabody in some way. There are several prints from wood engravings of famous figures from children’s literature, including Humpty Dumpty, the Red Queen, and Merlin. Of note are 3 posters given by Dean Connie Dowell: Pan Dulce, by Sam Coronado and Dando Gracias and Muchachas Talk, by Leo Limon. All pieces, from Vanderbilt University Special Collections, will hang on permanent display in the Peabody Library.
