The move of library materials is complete!
Demolition work on the GLB 8th floor is expected to begin shortly. The vacated portion of the 8th floor will become inaccessible. Expect noisy conditions.
The construction barrier will make the 8th floor inaccessible via the library’s two main elevators and nearby stairwells. The 8th floor restrooms will also be inaccessible. Access to the 8th floor will continue through the other elevators and stairwells in the 1941 building. This restricted access will extend through the duration of the construction project, i.e. through May 2010.
Books: Call numbers DJK-DX, E, and F have been moved from the 8th floor to the 6th floor
Bound Periodicals: Many of our bound periodicals are now in the Library Annex. You may request them as you do other Annex materials.
Microforms: Most microforms are now at the Annex; others are in Government Information and Media Services, 4th floor.
