Beginning July 1, 2008, all libraries on campus (with the exception of Central Library) will cease charging fines for books that are overdue. This policy does not apply to recalled items that are overdue.
Some libraries have opted to include materials other than books in the fine-free policy. The item-types to be fine-free (excluding recalled items) by library are:
Music: BOOK, SCORE, SCORE-CHAM
Management: BOOK, BOOK-CPC, CASSETTE, CD, CDROM, DISK-CPC, DVD, EMBA, VIDEO, WORKTOOL
Science & Engineering: BOOK, OVERSIZE, ATLAS
Law: BOOK
Peabody: ATLAS, BOOK, CASSETTE, CD, CDROM, CURR-CD, CURR-DVD, DVD, DVDROM, DISKETTE, GAME, GOVDOC, HANDS-ON, KIT, MAP, PICTURE, PUZZLE, SLIDES, TEXTBOOK, VIDEO
Divinity: BOOK, OVERSIZE
