Vanderbilt is honored to be the repository for the Mike Longo Papers (MSS.1163).
To honor the legacy of composer/arranger/jazz pianist Mike Longo, two exhibits highlighting his life, career, and contributions to jazz can be viewed both on the second floor of the Central Library and in the lobby of the Martha Rivers Ingram Performing Arts Center. These exhibits will run from September 1-November 30, 2026.
On Monday, September 28, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., a commemorative concert featuring the Blair Big Band will be held at the Martha Rivers Ingram Performing Arts Center at the Blair School of Music. This performance will be followed by a reception in the Ingram Hall Lobby.
