Connecting a microcontroller board and programming with CircuitPython is the second of three sessions in the workshop series. Open to Vanderbilt faculty, staff, students, and postdocs. Registration is required.
If you missed the first session, you are welcome to register for the second session. Please review the session 1 materials. Here are the detailed descriptions of all three sessions.
This second session is hands-on, in-person, and collaborative. Participants will work either in pairs or assist one another to set up and program the microcontrollers by connecting the boards to their laptops via USB. This session will demonstrate and provide attendees with the opportunity to program the microcontrollers in real-time and supports Mac and Windows. We will provide the necessary hardware, but please bring your laptop to this session. Note: this session is limited to 20 participants.

Note: The “QT Py Computer Workshop Series: Microcontrollers with CircuitPython” is partitioned into three sessions. Each session is structured to function as a stand-alone workshop, but we recommend attending all three if possible as they supplement one another.
