Francisco Juarez joined the Science and Engineering Library as Librarian for STEM Research on August 30. Francisco is a 2021 graduate of the School of Information Sciences at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Before getting his Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, he studied Chemistry and Biology as an undergrad at UIUC. While in library school, he worked at the University of Illinois’ Grainger Engineering Library.
Francisco’s hobbies include close reading literature to discuss the theory behind engaging story narratives. He is interested in what constitutes a well-told story and what moves people emotionally.
