Vanderbilt Libraries Government Documents are being consolidated and will relocate in May 2022, per Federal Depository Coordinator Will Stringfellow.
The U.S. Congress designated Vanderbilt’s Central Library as a Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) location in 1884. It comprises 700,000 paper, microfiche and CD-ROM holdings and is the oldest FDLP location in Tennessee. The Alyne Queener Massey Law Library was designated as a FDLP location in 1976. The Law Library will drop its FDLP status this year, and that collection will be merged with Central Library’s holdings, which are currently housed in the Peabody Library, Special Collections and University Archives and the Library Annex. All the documents are being consolidated and will be moved to the Digital Commons and Faculty Commons in May 2022.
