Modalities of Text Mining: Exploring British Periodicals at Scale Series – Fridays from 2:15 – 3:30pm, Starting Feb 5
How can you identify and explore patterns across millions of documents? These lessons will focus on state-of-the-art techniques for text mining at scale. Research Productivity Workshop Series – Tuesdays from 2:15 – 3pm, Feb 9 – March 23
The Research Productivity workshop series will introduce students to major principles of digital information literacy and to practical strategies for conducting digital research. Through this series of hour-long workshops, students will learn how to search for and identify relevant research and how to organize and present that research clearly. The workshop sessions will run the disciplinary gamut, and students in the humanities, social sciences, and hard sciences alike will benefit from the digital research skills reviewed.
