Candid Conversations: Next Steps at Vanderbilt on Feb. 5 at 1:00 p.m.

Vanderbilt libraries are pleased to continue the popular Candid Conversations series that draws on faculty and staff expertise in areas of contemporary interest and engages them in meaningful dialogue.

  • Lindsay Krech is the Co-Director of Career Development. She oversees career exploration and development initiatives for underclassmen. Previously, she worked in community outreach for both the Vanderbilt Center for Nashville Studies and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. Lindsay holds a Master’s in Community Development from Vanderbilt University.
  • Theresa Brogan is a junior from Maryland and is earning her Certificate in Career and Community Studies. Theresa has held internships with the Tennessee Department of Education, St. Ann’s Catholic School, and the Vanderbilt Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
  • Zoe Rankin is a junior from Pennsylvania majoring in Elementary Education and serves as a peer mentor with Next Steps through the AmbassaDore program. In addition, Zoe is a resident advisor in a freshman dorm and involved with student media and student government.

Next Steps at Vanderbilt is a 4-year inclusive higher education program committed to providing students with intellectual disability an inclusive, transformational post secondary education in academics, social and career development, and independent living, while honoring equality, compassion, and excellence in all endeavors. Outreach Librarian Kashif Graham will moderate the discussion.
