Python, R Studio, and ArcGIS lessons starting soon

Python
Do you have a project where a Python script would help you get the job done? These sessions will help beginners get started with Python. Due to high demand, we are offering this twice; both sequences are identical. In the first half of the semester, sessions will meet on Fridays, beginning January 10. In the second half of the semester, sessions will meet on Tuesdays, beginning March 10. All sessions are held from 1:10 – 2:00 pm  in the Eskind Biomedical Library training room (Room 010 on the basement level). R and R Studio
Gain knowledge of the R Programming language and the R Studio environment. All skill levels and programming backgrounds welcome. Due to high demand, we are offering this twice; both sequences are identical. In the first half of the semester, sessions will meet on Tuesdays, beginning January 14. In the second half of the semester, sessions will meet on Fridays, beginning March 13. All sessions are held from 1:10 – 2:00 pm i in the Eskind Biomedical Library training room (Room 010 on the basement level). Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
The focus of the Spring 2020 session is on learning ESRI’s ArcGIS software. This will be a traditional introductory course that will tackle how to use the industry standard software. Note: ArcGIS is only available for the PC/Windows or dual-boot Mac. If you do not have this option you will not be able to install software or follow along with hands-on activities. Sessions will meet Wednesdays, beginning January 15, from 1:10 – 2:00 pm, in the Eskind Biomedical Library training room (Room 010 on the basement level).
