GIS Day 2019 – Mapping Tennessee from the Civil War to the Present

The theme of Vanderbilt University’s annual GIS Day is “Mapping Tennessee from the Civil War to the Present”. The day will feature hands-on GIS workshops, followed by two sessions highlighting this theme. The first of these brings local experts together to discuss the challenges and successes of using GIS in Civil War mapping projects. The second panel, featuring members from industry and local government, focuses on professionals that currently use GIS in Tennessee.
