Heather Laferriere, MLIS, is a Health Sciences Informationist at the Annette and Eskind Irwin Family Biomedical Library and Learning Center. As a reference and instruction librarian for the medical and nursing communities, some of her primary duties include literature searching, research consultations, and resource training. Heather has been with the Eskind Biomedical Library since 2015 and earned her Master of Library and Information Science degree from Wayne State University in 2017. She is a member of the Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association.
Heather is originally from Columbus, OH and now lives in Gallatin, TN. She enjoys DIY home projects, hiking, tennis, poetry, and traveling with her husband.
