Sara Manus is the Music Librarian for Education and Outreach at the Anne Potter Wilson Music Library, where she has worked since 2005. She provides library instruction to all Blair undergraduate music majors, serves as the main music reference librarian, and coordinates outreach events and social media for the Music Library. Sara is currently adjunct faculty at SUNY Buffalo, teaching Music Librarianship I for graduate students in the Library and Information Science program. She has published several articles and book chapters on music information literacy; a new chapter on outreach co-authored with colleague Holling Smith-Borne is due out in early 2019.
Sara is a native Hoosier, and holds Masters degrees in musicology and library science from Indiana University, Bloomington. She and her husband are raising two sons (Ethan, 9, and Wyatt, 6), and a dog and two cats adopted from the Nashville Humane Society. Sara is also an avid aquarist, managing six different aquariums and a backyard pond.
