The Heard Libraries have been awarded a grant from the Latin Americanist Research Resources Project (LARRP) for a pilot project to digitize and preserve the audiotapes of the Manuel Zapata Olivella Collection. The tapes represent a collection of interviews of Colombians from all regions about their heritage and traditions, with a focus on Afro-Colombians. They will be linked to the digitized transcripts available online here. For more information, please contact Paula Covington, Librarian for Latin American Studies, Spanish and Portuguese, and Latin American Anthropology.
