To celebrate the fifteen anniversary of Wikipedia, librarians around the world are taking part in a campaign to add reliable references to Wikipedia articles. The goal of the #1Lib1Ref campaign is for every librarian (and library staff member) to add one new reference to Wikipedia between Friday, January 15 and Saturday, January 23.
Don’t know how to edit Wikipedia? Don’t worry! The scholarly communications team is ready to help if you need to learn the basics of editing Wikipedia articles. We’ll show you how to find articles needing additional citations and to supply the required references. Just reach out to one of us and we’ll find a time to meet with you.
