During the week of Spring Break, March 3rd-7th, students, staff, and visitors assisted in putting Frank Lloyd Wright’s artistry back together. One thousand pieces later, this jigsaw puzzle and “semiabstract interpretation of a cactus in bloom” recreated an art glass mural, Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers, adapted in 1928 from his 1927 design. The image served as the cover of Wright’s Modern Architecture lecture collection and the glass work now graces the lobby of the Arizona Biltmore resort in Phoenix.
Walker Management Library would like to thank everyone for helping us out of this puzzle and into a jigsaw masterpiece!
