On Feb. 23rd from 12-1 PM at the Peabody Library Fireside Room, Dale Cockrell, Blair School of Music faculty member and founder of Pa’s Fiddle Recordings, LLC, will talk about Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House books that reference 127 songs and constitute one of the best and most detailed memoirs of music-making in 19th century families. Dale will also discuss Pa’s Fiddle Recordings, a record label devoted to producing scholarly-informed-but-fun recordings that feature Nashville musicians. This is a free event and open to all.
