We always enjoy having visitors at the General Library Building, but we understand that our current renovation project may not be conducive to a wonderful library experience. The Library’s online services offer a number of ways for you to have access to the resources you need without having to navigate through our temporary access points or deal with construction noise.
- Many of the library’s electronic resources can be searched online from outside the library building – and in most cases all you need to access the full text is your VUnet ID and password. You can explore some of these options by clicking on the “Libraries” link at the top of the new Vanderbilt Homepage
- Do you need help with research or have a library related question? Our AskUS service provides an easy way to submit your question and receive the answer online. Since many subject librarians will take vacation time during the summer, AskUS may be a better option than emailing your subject librarian directly.
- Did you know that faculty members can have Library books delivered directly to their campus department by using the Faculty Delivery Service? In addition, the delivery service team will also scan and email electronic copies of journal articles to you.
