Dr. Katy Börner: Maps & Macroscopes

Dr. Börner’s research focuses on the development of data analysis and visualization techniques
for information access, understanding, and management.

She is the Victor H. Yngve Professor of Information Science at Indiana University and
Director at the university’s Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science Center.

In conjunction with Dr. Börner’s talk, Vanderbilt University will be hosting her
Places and Spaces: Mapping Science exhibit on campus from January 23  – April 23, 2017.
